Oje worked for international oil service company Schlumberger for 19.5 years with his last job being the manager for the wireline division covering Ghana, Ivory Coast and Senegal having worked all over the world in various capacities to include Africa, Middle East and America. While working in Schlumberger, Oje gained extensive and in depth knowledge on managing, running and building a proper corporate business which is an aspect that is sorely missing in Nollywood and he hopes to bring this experience to bare into the industry.
Oje got introduced to Nollywood while working in various countries in Africa and his interaction with the people there had the recurring theme of a huge and keen interest and demand in Nollywood and its products of which he had no knowledge at the time. This sparked an interest in the industry and led to a 4 year research on Nollywood which concluded in a solid business plan and quitting his management job at Schlumberger to start up TouchMedia Entertainment Limited. Oje intends to build TouchMedia Entertainment into the biggest movie production and distribution company in Africa and one of the biggest in the world.
